SO WHAT IS MICROBLADING, EXACTLY?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo — but forget whatever you’re picturing. We’re not drawing on a brow shape. We’re placing hundreds of individual strokes of pigment into the upper layers of the skin, each one following the direction your own hair already grows.

You’ll see it called a few other things: eyebrow feathering, 3D brows, micro-pigmentation, semi-permanent makeup. Same idea.

It’s done by hand with a very fine blade, which is what makes the strokes so crisp and hair-like. That’s also what makes it skin-dependent — microblading performs best on normal to dry skin. On oilier skin, those fine strokes tend to soften and blur as they heal, which is why we’d steer you toward a machine technique instead (more on that below).

Done properly, nobody can tell. They just think you have great brows.

WHICH TECHNIQUE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

You don’t need to decide this before you book — that’s our job at your mapping appointment. But here’s the honest version.
Microblading — hand-applied, blade, the finest and most hair-like result. Best on normal to dry skin. Lasts 12 to 18 months.
Nano brows — machine-applied with a single ultra-fine needle. Gentler on the skin. This is the answer for sensitive skin, mature skin, or anyone whose microblading has faded faster than they hoped. Lasts up to two years.

Powder ombré — soft, powdery, like a beautifully filled-in brow. Great for oily skin, mature skin, and anyone with little to no brow hair. Lasts up to two years.

Combo — a powder base with hair strokes on top. The most realistic result when you’re starting with very little brow hair.

If you have oily skin and you came here for microblading, we’ll probably recommend nano or powder instead — and we’d rather tell you that now than have you disappointed at your touch-up.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS AT YOUR MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT

Block out two to three hours. We don’t rush this and we don’t book it like we do.

First, mapping. We draw your brow shape with pencil, measure so both sides sit even and proportional to your features, and blend a pigment to match your natural brow and your skin tone. You see every bit of it. Nothing starts until you look in the mirror and love the shape drawn on your face.

Then we numb you — topical anesthetic before and throughout — and get to work.

You’ll leave with brows that look darker and sharper than the final result. That’s supposed to happen. Over the next two weeks they lighten and soften as your skin heals, and around 4- to 8 weeks we see you again for your perfecting session, where we adjust density, shape and colour now that we can see how your skin actually took the pigment.

That session is included. It’s not an upsell — it’s part of the process.

Does it look natural?
Yes. We enhance, not overdraw. You’ll look like you, but more polished.

How long does it last?
Up to 24 months depending on skin type and lifestyle.

What if I don’t like it?
We adjust it at your perfecting session (included). That's our guarantee.

I’m worried about ending up with dark, blocky brows. Do you customize the shade for different skin tones?
Yes — we custom-blend pigment to match both your brow hair and skin tone, so it looks natural not “done”.

Will it hurt?
Most clients rate it a 2/10 and say plucking their eyebrows hurts more. Numbing cream is used before and throughout the procedure.

Is this right for me?
If you fill your brows in daily, feel washed out without makeup, live an active or busy life, find brows harder to do than they used to be as your eyesight changes, or have simply never been great at makeup — yes.

How much does it cost?

How long is the appointment?
Two to three hours for your first session. Your perfecting session is shorter, usually around one hour.

Microblading or nano — how do I know which one I need?
Skin type decides it. Microblading suits normal to dry skin. Nano holds better on sensitive and mature skin. If you’re not sure which you are, book with us and we’ll tell you at your mapping appointment — before any pigment goes in.

How do I take care of them while they heal?
We send you home with full aftercare instructions and we’re reachable if anything comes up. The short version: keep them clean, keep them dry for the first week, no picking, and stay out of the sun.
